mic should select the content of a comment, excluding the comment delimiter

I would've expected mic to only select the contents of a comment (the comment delimiter wouldn't be selected), whereas mac would select the entire comment.

For some reason, both mic and mac select the entire comment. I feel like this behavior isn't consistent and it "feels wrong" that matching inside also selects the comment delimiter.

Is there an another short ergonomic way to select only the contents of a comment, when the cursor is inside anywhere in the comment?
