Detailed data source:
• Data are freely available in the UN database for most countries from 1950 until 2100. We downloaded births, deaths, total population, and net migration for all countries by age and sex. https://population.un.org/wpp.
• IHME database (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) provides prevalence, incidence, mortality and remission rates for most diseases and countries.
• IARC database ([International Agency for Research on Cancer)] (http://oecdpublichealthexplorer.org/ncd-doc/zreferences.html#id55) provides prevalence at 1, 3 and 5 years, incidence, and mortality rates for cancers.
