In use the helm chart of external-dns-operator in version 0.15.0 and I set the serviceMonitor.enabled to true.
The external dns provicer is then expecting and metrics endpoint of the webhook at /metrics
https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/external-dns/blob/v0.15.0/charts/external-dns/templates/servicemonitor.yaml#L55

Please implement a minimal endpoint for prometheus metrics.

@mma-altow the metrics endpoint have been added. You can use the latest release: v0.6.3
