In light of the number of steps it (often) takes to ingest an object, we want to offer a one-step ingest workflow.
Therefore we propose to let a repository manager create shortcuts, where the collection, content model, and form are pre-selected. The user would then be presented with a single link, e.g. "Add a Person" which would lead directly to the appropriate form.
This would also be an appropriate case for when you want to present a simplified ingest form for the initial (blunt) metadata input, but maintain an associated detailed form for more nuanced fields.
This would involve
a. an admin form where these shortcuts could be CRUD'd (by users with appropriate permission)
b. a 'workbench' where users can see the Quick Add links that are exposed to them.
This does not, however, solve the issue of the file upload and the metadata being in separate steps on the ingest form as brought up in #6.
