I'd love to see some dropdown filter option on top of the files page for "frequently changing parameters" like material or nozzle size. The filter should only need to reorder the list of the current folder.
Solves the following problem:
When someone prints with different materials and/or frequently changes nozzle the amount of GCode files might be large. Currently we can only create a root folder for each combination, or have each GCode variants in one folder.
Additional information:
The UI already extracts the metadata from the GCodes. The dropdowns would only collect each distinct values from the current folder. Selecting a specific value from the dropdown would rearrange the list into two parts:
That matches the criteria, those would be on the top and ordered as currently.
Those that don't match the criteria would be but below the No.1 list, maybe with a different visuals (e.g.: faded text color).
Alternatively, files that doesn't match the criteria could also be just hidden.
