Hi,
I tried to download the fra.traineddata file (https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tessdata/blob/main/fra.traineddata) and put it in tessdata and download the spellcheck dictionaries (fr-toutesvariantes, fr-classique, fr-moderne, fr-reforme1990.dic and .aff from https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/french-dictionaries) and put them in myspell but the program keeps crashing when I click on Recognize button.
Could you tell me if I done something wrong or if there a way to resolve the problem.

I'm having the same problem as you, but trying to recognize Italian.

Using gImageReader 3.4.2 (624910) on Windows. My system information:

Edition	Windows 11 Enterprise
Version	22H2
OS build	22621.4460
Processor	13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1355U   1.70 GHz
Installed RAM	32.0 GB

I thought it was because I was trying to recognize a heavy PDF with many pages, but even one page would not work.
