For some reason the original draft PR got closed, but here's the commit with the current work done: d8e0c45

Our main developer of the loader (@MediosZ) has updated the metadata decoder: https://github.com/MediosZ/meta-decoder

So with the current changes made by @devraymondsh and the meta-decoder it should be enough to update what's remaining.
