Type: Bug

  1. Open workspace.
  2. (Python package launches)
  3. System is stuck on "Discovering python interpreters".
  4. VSCode becomes very slow and the python package becomes unresponsive.

Can't explain what's going on here, but uninstalling vscode and removing all cashes seems to have resolved the issue.

@Jonnokc If you run into something like this, you can probably just run Python: clear cache and reload command.
