Please confirm these before moving forward

  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Category of the issue

Installation issue.

Brief description of your issue

The winget installation of Okular doesn't associate with any file types, resulting in no Okular entry in the default apps list.

Steps to reproduce

Run winget install --id=KDE.Okular without administrator privliges.

Actual behavior

Okular does not appear in the default apps list

Expected behavior

There should be an entry for Okular in the default apps list

I suppose so. However the Microsoft store version of Okular correctly associates the app with file types, but I have some issues with that one which is why I would like to use the winget version.
