js client most time for web browser, I think give the user upload progress is amicable

but minio cannot get progress,I want use presignedUrl to upload by my own httpclient, but cannot deal multiple parts file, like 1GB。

Did mini-js have the plan to provide progress on putObject?

It would be really nice for us too to have a way to display precise upload progress.

Demo.file.upload.mp4

When users upload, they need to know the progress

2024 is about to end. Still we are waiting.

Unless you're on an enterprise support plan, remember that open-source maintainers don’t owe anyone specific features or support.

If this feature is critical for you, consider switching to @aws-sdk/client-s3—it worked well for us.

P.S. I'm not affiliated with Minio in any way.
