I expect the 320x240 120Hz mode to not be compatible with most VGA monitors, or VGA input of most LCD monitors.

At the time I must have been found cool to use a 120Hz mode, or maybe I had not found the "Scan Double enable" bit in "Display Mode" register at 0xa05f8044
