The error screenshot you posted only shows the end of the error which is not really helpful, if you scroll up you should see the beginning of the error with a more detailed message.

I don't think I understand.

When you run the say command, the bot will only answer to you like this:

If you change the ephemeral to false, that response will be visible to everyone.

I made it this way because it turns out the text channels would get poluted by messages that the bot would already read out loud. In fact some people told me they wanted that to be removed, so that's why it's set up like that.

You can still keep track of what user says what in the console.

I don't think this is possible with slash commands because the idea of a bot interaction is a 1 on 1 situation between the user and the bot.

That's why slash commands don't actually look like messages on Discord.
