Other ports of AutoFirma appear to have custom setup scripts:

At the moment, autofirma-setup only installs the necessary browser certificates to allow communication with AutoFirma's local websocket server.

Perhaps the better approach would be to remove the manual autofirma-setup step in favor of the NixOS/Home-Manager module, declaring a one-shot systemd service.

Tasks:

  • Understand why other ports have custom setup scripts.
  • Decide what would be the best approach in NixOS/Nix+Home-Manager
