Old NumPy logo – tracking issue #438
Comments
One funny issue is that Google Images search for "numpy logo" shows 5 different variants among the first 8 results. People not bothering to do more research probably pick the one they like the most for their materials, which spreads not only the old logo, but even draft logos. (I however have no idea if this is solvable.) |
Thank you for your comment, @JanPokorny! Yes, we are aware of it. It’s one of those drawbacks of working in the open.:) |

@Mukulikaa Thank you! This will be a great issue for a sprint. |
Hey @InessaPawson, actually I already fixed this in numpy/doc#9. 😄 |
I'm finding that the old NumPy logo is still in use in our own visual materials or on partner websites. If you come across it, please leave a comment in this issue (include a link and screenshot, if possible). I will follow up to get it updated. Thank you for contributing to the NumPy brand integrity!
