I would like to nominate myself (@matteogrs) to become a co-chair for sig-release.

I currently develop some unannounced game-related projects using O3DE. I regularly monitor and evaluate the impacts of new features from the upstream repository to keep up-to-date and synchronized with it.

I am following the O3DE project since its first public announcement (July 2021), and I was an active user of all past engine versions. This gives me knowledge on the engine features and how they were added over time. I have also created some external addons, such as:

  • o3tanks - a versioning tool for O3DE that relies upon containerization;
  • minimal game templates - a collection of sample projects that use the built-in feature of the engine to retrieve remote objects from O3DE directly.

In my career, I also worked in the role of project manager to develop and release enterprise software in different industry sectors.
