I understand the purpose of certain banners to inform and remind users, but would it be possible for said banners to either only appear for a limited time, perhaps after initial use, or to have an option in settings to disable them and thus declutter the UI. This is especially important for smaller screen devices where these banners take up a considerable portion of the screen.

The banners in question:

  1. The green bubble at the top of all chats with the padlock icon and "messages posted in this discussion..."
Perhaps this could be reduced to just the padlock icon. With an option to tap on the padlock icon to reveal the banner?

  2. The gray banner "it's time to set backups..."
Please give the user the option to use manual backups only without this banner always showing.

Hi, the green banner at the top of the discussion is indeed not very useful once you know how Olvid works, but it is not very annoying either. The other banner about backup, on the contrary, is rather annoying. Rather than adding an option to remove it, we plan on completely changing the way backups work (especially to make them better suited for multi-device): once this change is done, the banner will probably be gone :)
