Merkaartor can create tags without value

With Merkaartor 0.20.0 (or 0.19.0), you can create and upload tags without a value. E.g. in the XML (or .mdc) file it'll contain something like: <tag k="testkey" v=""/>
These cases sometimes also end up on the server, e.g. https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/474159364. I can't think of a single case where such tags would be correct. Perhaps it is possible to filter out tags without a value before uploading/saving?
