Another idea I was thinking about is to use Kato's data to train c302. Could we train the neural network using the output of real-world neurons? @theideasmith you seemed to be alluding to this with the paper you referenced previously. I am sure something like this has been debated among the group before and I would be interested to hear your comments on whether this is feasible and how we might do it.

In the README for this repo, I tried to lay out a bit of the strategy for assembling the neuronal network in both a bottom-up and top-down way. So basically, yes, we do want to use data like Kato's as one of many data sets to constrain the model. Check out the README and see if that answers your question @BenjiJack
