In the README for this repo, I tried to lay out a bit of the strategy for assembling the neuronal network in both a bottom-up and top-down way. So basically, yes, we do want to use data like Kato's as one of many data sets to constrain the model. Check out the README and see if that answers your question @BenjiJack
