HOWTO: full backup of an encrypted ZFS

Can anyone or developers provide instructions on how to do a full backup of an encrypted ZFS?

The problem is when I try to do a full recursive backup of an encrypted ZFS I keep bumping into #6793

Please show as an example fresh Ubuntu installed with ubuntu-20.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso

Your userspace utilities don't match the kernel: zfs-0.8.3 vs zfs-2.0.2 Consider upgrading zfs utilities. There were protocol changes between kernel and userspace.

It is a default installation packages of ubuntu-20.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso without any changes or upgrades.

It seems there is a bug in that packages. Upgrade to

# zfs version 
zfs-0.8.3-1ubuntu12.13
zfs-kmod-2.0.2-1ubuntu5

solved the issue.
