Heltec v3 with GPS module - sat count incorrect or missing in Android App

I submitted a bug report through the app, I think I am doing the appropriate next step to explain why I did so (?)
Looking at the node list, I can see my module that has a gps chip, the module itself has the sat count on the screen, but I noticed that teh sat count flashed in the app node list for a fraction of a second then is gone.
Also, to go laong with this, if I look at the position log for this node many of the records in the table have 0 or count of sats....why is that? Is that intended?
