Long term support for Ubuntu Precise has ended, so an update to Ubuntu Trusty would be nice. Anyways, thanks for the good work!

@wish7code The support of Ubuntu 12.04 has not ended yet, see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LTS
It will be supported for 5 years, until 2017.

Thanks Daniel, that's good to know. Nevertheless since a couple of days I'll get the message when logging in:

Your current Hardware Enablement Stack (HWE) is going out of support
on 08/07/14. After this date security updates for critical parts (kernel
and graphics stack) of your system will no longer be available.

~$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS
Release: 12.04
Codename: precise

In my first understanding this message was quite lear, when examing your link, it states something completely different (i.e. 2017)?
Any ideas?

Cheers
Toby

Hi - the end-of-life message that you see is not about Ubuntu 12.04, it is about the "Hardware Enablement Stack" - further information here:
