If I take a screenshot with the selection tool and have 'Copy to Clipboard' for the mode, it will sometimes work and sometimes result in an empty file.

I've tried many different scenarios (tiled window, maximized window, wallpaper of the desktop, etc) but I cannot reproduce it consistently, it's very random but does happen frequently enough for it to become an annoyance.

As far as I can tell, it appears clipboard-related rather than capture-related as I have yet to come across the same issue with the 'Save to Pictures'/'Save to Documents' modes.

I don't want to pollute the conversation but I have the same issue as well (probably 70% to 80% of the time works well)
