Rotate and Project Gaussian Fit is slow and not always reliable

If we want this analysis to be up to snuff with something official, we should probably do something more reliable. Something about this fitting method should be improved, I will think about the specifics.

Also a fit like this significantly increases the runtime of the analysis, especially when the number of gaussian peaks is more than 1 or 2.
