I have followed the said guidelines to install the torrent plugins, but when I search getting the below error message,

You need to fill in the api keys/appropriate information, then save the file and then install it in qBittorrent. It seems to happen on a lot of the plugins for you, so it shouldn't be a plugin issue; it's probably something you did wrong.
