Hi,

I found your book after seeing the related talk on the UseR! virtual program. Amazing stuff! I love the clarity of your writing and the fun examples. Can't wait to read (and recommend) the final product.

Just for the fun of it, I replicated a couple of your G-Computation examples using marginaleffects. I thought you might be interested to see how we can get similar results with delta method uncertainty using a "canned" function and a one-liner.

Of course, I realize that this is totally unsolicited, so feel free to close the issue and ignore.

Good luck with the writing!

TBC, I put this in a PR rather than an issue so I could insert the code in the document alongside the examples I am replicating. This is absolutely not an argument for merging.

Hello there! Yes, we are aware that at least some subset of g-formula computations can be calculated with marginaleffects, and I was planning on putting a callout box in about that. This chapter, though, is still under heavy construction, and I have a few questions for you since you're here, so would you mind refiling as an issue so we don't have a lingering, likely soon-to-be merge-conflicted PR?
