If you have the use Trashcan preference set to true (the default setting), then you have to have the trash-cli in your path. The best way to install it is with Home brew. Once you have home brew on your system, you can install the trash-cli with the command brew install trash-cli. Then, make sure the path that mfm is using points to the file. You can edit the PATH environment variable in the General tab of the Preferences.
