Should the 'autoload' setting auto-save?

The setting persistently toggles itself back to off on my device with all three presets I've created. The presets — which otherwise function as expected — also appear to frequently stop running.

Should the Autoload option ever revert back to the default or to save its state automatically?

Input Remapper is running, if this is a concern. Installed by running (from the readme):

sudo dnf install input-remapper
sudo systemctl enable --now input-remapper
