We can release a standalone flatpak. But it cannot use the auto update function because of flatpak restriction. The is currently a plan to publish to Flathub. Please be patient.

I'm working on something to make flatpaks installed as .flatpak update (its wip but ye)

There is a PR to build a flatpak package in the main repo but it was closed in favor of this repo.
If you don't want to build it yourself, you can check out my repo.

The next step will be to create a PR from this repo to the new-pr branch on flathub/flathub and fill in their submission form. As I haven't got contributor status here I can't actually do that but if you tag me in the PR I'll be happy to help out with any feedback they may have.
