Description

What: a toggleble option that allows the user to make notes for each game(ex. crash, how far it boots)
Where: next to the game's name
How:

  • User enabled feature
  • User double-clicks on the notes section
  • User adds a note

the notes per game should be saved between versions of shad, best would be a seperate file where the notes are stored

Reason

Ease: faster to know if the game got further, crashes at an earlier stage and so on
How: its a fast and simple way to store the current progress of the game
What: a easy option to make per game notes on how far it goes in terms of playability, stage(boot, menus etc) and so on

To be honest, I didn't really understand your idea and how it should work correctly.
But if I understood your idea correctly, then it doesn't make sense for two reasons:

  1. Regardless of the update channel, it may happen that there may be some kind of regression or progress between builds.
It may not always be the case that the game is getting better and better every day.

  2. As for the playability of games, I can say that "notes" are made between the release versions of the emulator
(for example, 0.4.0, 0.5.0, then 0.6.0, and so on).
You can see this at the link: https://github.com/shadps4-emu/shadps4-game-compatibility
In the emulator itself, you can also include a compatibility database and, if necessary, add information about the games that you have, but for which there are no reports.

Perhaps you just missed some information, then you should read it at the link:
