The VMware OVA image generated includes the vmx-15 hardware type:

talos/pkg/imager/ova/ova.go

Line 68 in f407c88

<vssd:VirtualSystemType>vmx-15</vssd:VirtualSystemType>

Add reference the minimum vSphere version required by this (6.7U2).
Add link to interop matrix possibly? https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/315655/virtual-machine-hardware-versions.html
