Multiple Interfaces for same database

A question has come up multiple times from different user groups:

Would it be possible to have different interfaces to the database to reflect the different groups in a breeding program (researchers, pre-breeders, breeders, etc) ?

• each group would have only the appropriate functions exposed on their interface
• For example, pre-breeders would see genetic maps and GWAS tools, but breeders would not.
• With the mason modules and different VMs or dockers, this should be easy to implement, and each group could have it's own sub host name (breeders.cassavabase.org etc)
• What do you think?
