expand account tabs vertically if extra room

Right now if we have accounts with "long" names, they are truncated after 9 characters. Would be nice to expand account tabs vertically so that we can see the entire account name when we only have a few accounts and have a lot of other empty vertical space.

This is even more problematic because of #1531 because we can't see the tooltip, but I think even once #1531 is fixed, it would still help a lot.
