I didn't find the correct place to ask this so I'll just rise this issue in hopes of this beeing the right place;
Currently there is no good support for networked music, like in my scenario where I got all music stored on an server at home and while out traveling I'm having a hard time settings this up (especially on my Android phone)
So I'm requesting a proper SSH resolver for this, where one should be able to login (with password and/or auth key) and choose music folder
PS: Setting up ampache/owncloud or similar for this seems a bit over the top, a native solution like SSH is a better option imho

Very unlikely we'll implement this. This involves quite a bit of complexity and takes possibly a lot of bandwidth. There are more lightweight alternatives to Ampache/ownCloud/Subsonic, you might wanna check out beets.
