No recordings when camera set to local storage

Is there a way to save the recorded image to my local server when camera is set for local storage? I can get snapshots to update the cameras last action, but nothing is stored locally like my one camera that has cloud storage. Also, is there a way to manually record for any of these configured cameras? I don't see any option for that.
