Sopdf corrupts pdf header

i used mode 3 to automatic crop whitespace from pdf and include it into a latex file, but it could not be opened because header was corrupted. The same issue was noticed when i tried to open the cropped file with ghostscript.

Oh, I'm not maintaining (or using) this at all... if you come up with a fix, I'll pick it directly. But as for now, I have no idea of what does sopdf do with the pdf headers.
