Trying to temporarily disconnect/disable virtual display #3947
-
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to figure it out on my own. I am using a virtual display to drive an external monitor. I'd like to know how to turn off/disable/disconnect the virtual display temporarily while
When I try to do the obvious thing and disconnect the virtual display manually, it tells me that I cannot do that. When I tried to disable mirroring, I either failed or got a blank screen for my efforts the one time I succeeded. So far I have found that I have to kill Betterdisplays altogether to disable the VD, but I'm sure there is an easier or more flexible solution that can keep Betterdisplays running. I just can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Thanks! |

Hi there - maybe the virtual screen is associated the display and auto-connect virtual screen is on. I recommend turning off association or auto-connect. |
