New/Update Game List Suggestions #38
Comments
eXoDOS collections. This would be good since it's a little more curated than archive.orgs huge MSDOS list |
|
Update FBAlpha |
Update MAME-2003 |
Update / Add MAME 2003-Plus |
Update SCUMMVM |
FBA need updating. New entry for MAME 2010 romset |
Zx spectrum, vectrex (joystick sensitivity adjustment would be good) |
ZX Spectrum is already included (TOSEC Archive) |
I don't see it (tosec), isn't in the list. Does the fact I'm using Kodi on Android tv box have anything to do with it? |
The list in IAGL should be there, but the emulator (Fuse) may not yet be available for android. |
|
|
GameCube 👍 |
PicoDrive for Sega 32x support would be great! |
@Philps This is likely an issue with Kodi's implementation of libretro, rather than with IAGL. |
Update Atari 2600 |
Add Amstrad CPC |
Update Doom to add additional / popular WADs |
Update Neo Geo CD (to use FBAlpha rather than MAME) |
please add Vectrex to list / GCE-Vectrex (vecx) |
Done |
Done |
Vectrex Added |
If we want to help with these, is there an easy way to generate the |
I have made some tools for my own use to help generate the files, but they're really not in a state that they'd be useful or supportable for everyone else to use, so at this point, it would be manual (or you can try your hand at some python parsing magic) |
PAL/NTSC-J games for PSX would be nice (PAL versions are easy to find on IA, but NTSC-J stuff it's all scattered around. There's an Asia - Non-Redump collection with some good games on there.) |
Request for MAME 2015/16 |
Well i was alerted to the fact my repo never updated, so i updated it again, and hopefully that pushed the new version with the new game lists |
To Repo or not to Repo lol |
Please, could you update Sega Genesis, I created four files in archive.org which are ready to be used to create 4 different lists, you wont need to clean or verify, just to scrape in order to create the lists. All are based in last No-Intro update, and adding more content from good and nongood collections.
If it's useful for you I'm planning to do same procedure with all Sega and Nintendo retro systems. |
@ZeDinis , no links here but I've made note. I'll add Genesis to the list (it was already planned, I have to go back through all no-intro sets). The new game list though will be one list, but now with the groups subsection, all of those groupings you mentioned would be included. Except for maybe the unofficial releases. Are those also in the no-intro set, or in some other set? |
Can u update rom hacks thanks(GB,GBC,Snes,Nes,Genesis,GBA) |
U dah man love the new GameCube section keep them coming also can we get an Xbox360 section(Emulator and Games) |
PSP was (re) added (redump list) |
Good job adding PSP |
looking forward to a PS2 Section since the Console is 20 years old |
Can u also add Original Xbox(Emu and Games) |
@OtakuNami General age of a system does not necessarily indicate how easily it can be emulated... N64 (among others) emulators, for example, still have obvious gaps in performance and accuracy, and those systems can be even older than PS2. In particular, PS2 and Xbox emulators are not very performance except on very powerful machines, and are also not commonly available on most platforms. They do exist, but ISOs for them are even less readily available (at least that would be usable for a project like this), as they tend to be significantly larger than most of the other games in the archives. |
True but the Emulator Xemu is coming along nicely |
@OtakuNami It runs on Windows, OS X, and Linux, but I would imagine it would be difficult to find an archive of the games. |
Archive.org has most of them |
PS2 is doable since there's a retroarch core for it (still in it's infancy though). There are some archive's available - the one that is most complete is not well formed/named so it's a bit of a hassle to try and organize. There looks to be one (redump) in the works, so I'll keep my eye on it. Adding win3x0 games to the list as well |
Atari 800 (currently doesn't work, needs to be updated) |
|
|
I do not know the current stability of the core but i noticed a PCem RetroArch core. i am not too informed on older PC's so unaware if all potential lists are already implemented via Dosbox/Amstrad etc. Nintendo 64 DD |
Theres a way to download roms from iagl without use kodi? |
No, but you can go to archive.org directly and search for what you want |
could you update the GBA library with this? Some games seem to be missing from the current GBA library such as an english version of the Cars game |
Hello, after investigating some xml files, I found the reason for some of the missing games. IAGL seems to be using the 2015 version of the no-intro collection on archive.org. Could you update the databases to the 2022 version of No-Intro? |
From @upintheairsheep |
From @doctornono |
Let’s add the rest of https://archive.org/details/emulation like Macintosh for instance |
Can you add Sega Pico |
@zach-morris psp no longer works |
