Notifications not showing on Android auto

Notifications are not showing on Android auto.
The AA notifier is receiving the notifications and is showing a notification on my phone but it is not sending it to Android Auto.
Version 1.4.0
Android auto version 12.7.643414

I found in the newer versions of aa you have to have the app in the launcher of aa or it does not work. You have confirmed that 3rd party apps are enabled?

Yes it is in the launcher and unknown sources is enabled

The last time I had that happen the dev had me wipe cache/data for AA and that fixed it. Look at the closed post to confirm.

Seems to be working now after a clear cache and clear cache for Android auto and then re-enable developer options

Hi,
I'm facing the same issue: notifications are not showing on Android Auto. The app "captures" the selected applications' notifications and shows its own notifications on the phone, but they don't appear on Android Auto.
I’ve enabled notification access, and I can see the Android Auto notification version in the Android Auto settings on my phone.

Am I missing something?

Thanks, I tried clearing the app cache and reinstalling the app, but neither seems to solve the issue.
