The v2.0.0 version of the automate.fedramp.gov website is a major release correcting relevant documentation for the portfolio of FedRAMP Automation Team's activities.

Most importantly, this release provides updated documentation to align on the singular use of http://fedramp.gov/ns/oscal for @ns in props, @identifier-type, and @system in locations through the respective OSCAL models for a variety of FedRAMP-specific use cases. This alignment breaks backward compatibility, albeit it with limited impact per community feedback. Please see ADR #11 for further details about the history and background of this decision.

This release tags the launch of this website when FedRAMP launched it in July 2024. The website includes new material about FedRAMP Automation activities, program data requirements (with OSCAL et al.), and most importantly the deprecated PDF-based developer guides for FedRAMP OSCAL content now converted into accessible web-based content.

NOTE: Per community feedback, this release and tag was backported in December 2024 to assist the community in understanding and tracking changes to published content once released on automate.fedramp.gov. This backported release is a starting point.
