User journeys
There are currently 2 main user journeys in Kaiak:
- Create or import wallet
- Receiving and sending Nano
«Videos» are recorded of the KaiOS demo application.
When opening the app and no previous wallet exists on the device, the user has to create a new wallet.
For when the user wants to create their first wallet.
- Read general information about Kaiak and the license under which the software is built.
- Read information about the "Seed" and why this is important in order to keep funds safe.
- The seed is generated, user has to acknowledge that seed is backed up.
- The user has to set an alias for the first account in the wallet.
- Lastly the user has to set a PIN for the wallet. This is to secure the seed locally on the phone.
For when the user wants to restore an existing wallet on a new phone.
- Read general information about Kaiak and the license under which the software is build.
- User is presented information on how to change keyboard to English (US) to be able to input the seed.
- User can now input the seed with their keyboard.
- The user has to set an alias for the first account in the wallet.
- Lastly the user has to set a PIN for the wallet. This is to secure the seed locally on
For someone to send Nano they first need to recieve Nano. How to get Nano is better described over at Nano.org
- Open and unlock the wallet (created in the previous section)
- Select the account in which you want to receive Nano
- Select "Receive"
- Show this QR code to someone who are to send you Nano
- Go back
- Select "Transactions" an see the updated balance in your account
- Open and unlock the wallet (created in the previous section)
- Select the account from which you want to send Nano
- Select "Send"
- Choose either "by QR" meaning you will scan the QR by camera, or by address meaning you will input the address manually
- Input amount, or press "max" to send everything
- Press "send" to send Nano
