Sometimes, multiple tabs for the same meeting are opened. We had been managing the flags on our own implementation, but this didn't seem to work, so we solved the problem of multiple tabs for the same meeting being opened by acquiring the
tabspermission and checking for duplicates using the tabs that are actually open.
