Warning: The project at the moment only runs through unity game engine, however, at the end of project a windows or vr application will be build.


UR5 VR Simulator

Unity - 2021.3.9f1 LTS          Ubuntu - 20.04 LTS


Note: The project is currently being worked on in the dev branch.


A VR application that allows user to connect a real UR5 robot with the virtual UR5 model.


Requirements

Software = Universal Robots Polyscope, Unity3D, WSL2 (Ubuntu)
Versions:
	- Unity Version: 2021.3.9f1
	- Ubuntu version: 20.04 LTS
	- Polyscope version: ursim-5.13.0.113898


Please read the guide about setting up polyscope here.

Getting Started

  1. Download/Clone this github repo.
  2. Open Unity Hub and open the Unity project located inside the repo.
  3. Open Ubuntu instance in WSL2.
  4. Follow the guide about setting up polyscope here.
  5. Navigate to the URPolyscope folder and
    Run $ bash ./start-ursim.sh.
  6. Then configure/start the robot in PolyScope
  7. In Unity run the scene demo and using the interface provided connect the two robots together.
