Agenda:

  1. General TDAQ Project status updates/Schedule review.
  2. Status of DCS and DAQ Room
  3. AOB

Ryan/George -- Will approve Feedthrough fabrication drawing.

George -- Nervous about the length of optical jumpers for Calo.

Eric -- Mu2e TDAQ v3_03_00 created. Installed at mu2edaq13, so --upstream quick install should go quickly. Also installed at Calo VST at Sidet on mu2edaq18. Next area will be DAQ room. New Mu2e quick install points to new ots v2_09_00 and artdaq v3_14_01. The quick install script should handle in place upgrades as well.

Javier -- mu2edaq20 died again (after vendor repair), but maybe came back up yesterday. Helped Joe, Alex, Leo with Fiber testing 42 of 76, from server room to hall. Now have Avalanche firmware machine.

Greg/Ryan discussion about collecting full dataset, then need to debate which bad fibers can be considered spares.

Ryan -- found tray of VTRx modules in Rick’s old office. Javier points out spare Avalanche is missing VTRx.

Merrill -- Interested in PV list that are wanted for GR3. Then can generate alarm tree from list. Antonio knows how to generate lists from ots. Do we want remote operating centers? Do we want to allow individual remote shifters? There are implications on collaborator travel budgets. Would be happy to try to rampup a remote operating center at South Alabama.

Glenn -- home/mu2edcs/mu2e-dcs/apps/OTSReader/db has all the OTS DAQ channel names on the production system. There should be a similar file in basically the same place in the development system. But I don't know how current they are. Antonio can say for sure. -- Discussion with STM team for connecting EPICS to iFix - looks simpler than expected.

Greg -- Power outage at Mu2e Friday and Tuesday for 30 minutes.

Ryan -- Managing of multiple ots instances in the new ots release that Eric setup.
