As a Nixpkgs commiter, before merging PRs, I have to run
nixpkgs-review/build the packages manually. While buildingaarch64-linuxpackages onx86_64-linuxis technically possible if binfmt is enabled, this takes a lot of time.A single rust package taking more than 25 minutes to build.
Having access to a dedicated
aarch64-linuxwould be very helpful.
