Proteoform uses
The protein AP-3 complex subunit beta-1 (AP3B1 - O00203) participates in the pathways for: "Clathrin derived vesicle budding", "Golgi Associated Vesicle Biogenesis", "Membrane Trafficking" and "Vesicle-mediated transport". When the protein is phosphorylated it participates in different disease pathways related to "Oncogenic MAPK signaling".
The modified protein has been identified with at least two proteoforms:
- O00203;00046:445,00046:729
- O00203;00046:445,00046:602,00046:729,00047:599
The MAP kinase cascade is involved in the signaling mechanisms in eukaryote cells.
It starts with the MAPKKK receivin the input signals, which activate it adding a Phosphorylation. When MAPKKK is activated, then MAPKK is phosphorylated. When MAPKK is activated then it MAPK is activated and produces the ouput signal result.
An example is the cascade Raf, MEK, Q02750 (P04049, Q02750,
