QR-Attend

An Android App which scans QR Codes to mark attendance for events (v1.0)

Status: Work in Progress

Libraries used:

1. Lottie : For animations
2. Mobile Vision : For QR Code Detection
3. Picasso: For Image Handling

Instructions:

1. Download the debug-app.apk file and install
2. Sign up first (Do not give an email as username)
3. Proceed to fill details and click the login button

Future Work:

• Add event screen : The user can select the event for which he/she is participating to obtain attendance.
• Integration with backend: The student details can be saved to a server
• Migrate to Material Components: Cleaner and better looking UI
• Calendar support: Add event details to Google Calendar of Attendees
