reordering endoints
Adding in the openAPI yaml data type definitions. I searched for another RFC that defined an API and found: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc2614#section-4.2 They don't seem to use OpenAPI exactly, but this will do for a first draft.

Summarize spec from github, with links back to OpenAPI spec. (Wasn't sure if we should just copy the OpenAPI spec here, so I just summarized it and linked back). Added Acknowledgements section.
