1. In your Disqus account, go to the [admin page](https://disqus.com/admin/)
1. If you have multiple sites in Disqus, choose the site you'd like to use for HelpDocs in the dropdown at the top of the page
2. Click **Edit Settings**
3. Copy your [Shortname](https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/466208-what-s-a-shortname-) to the clipboard
2. In your [HelpDocs dashboard](https://my.helpdocs.io/)
1. Head to **Settings** > **Integrations**
2. Paste your [Shortname](https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/466208-what-s-a-shortname-) into the **Disqus Forum Shortname** field
3. Scroll back to the top of the page and hit **Save**

Probably don't need this, since if they're signing up for a new site, they'll get an introduction as part of the onboarding process. But it doesn't hurt!
