Bio-OS for Android

A heartrate monitor (and other bits) using Android as a data capture device, connected to an IOIO board and a Sparkfun HMRI breakout board.

Dependencies

  • Targeted against: Android Gingerbread (2.3.3).
  • You will also need Android API-level 3 support (i.e.: Android 1.5) to support the IOIO board.
  • Designed for an IOIOv1 board.

Hardware

Pin Sensor Usage
0 Status LED Used for testing.
42 GSR Glavanic Skin Response, use .getVoltage(); to read.
43 Stretch Resistor Breathing Rate, use .read(); to read.
45 Temprature Local Skin Temprature, use .getVoltage(); to read, requires conversion.
