Incidentally, this might fix the issue discussed in ome#65 (comment). Can you update the tests at https://github.com/ome/ome-zarr-py/blob/2ed442629f22ca7b3b995dd5f4d8dec3b103abca/tests/test_reader.py#L36-L79 to expect only one spec returned in the node (now I understand why the outcome was 2...)? |

Just by avoiding Plate labels (and fixing a few logging statements) this allows me to view a 3-channel small plate on napari locally.
Works with local 3-channel single Z/T plate and with
napari https://uk1s3.embassy.ebi.ac.uk/idr/zarr/v0.3/idr0094A/7751.zarr
